Step 1: Determining Your Budget, Wants, and Needs
As with any home, the first step is to get pre-approved for a home loan. Once you know your budget’s framework, we can work with you to decide on a location and floor plan that best suits your needs.
Step 2: Setting Up the Paperwork
After completing step one, the purchase of your new home starts on paper. We have thoughtfully designed detailed specifications and blueprints, along with contract documents, to get you started. Soon, you will receive your login to our online portal, where you will be able to view the entire process with ease.
Step 3: Making Your Personalization Selections
One of the best aspects of building a home is customizing it to your preferences. With our design process, you can start with either our Diamond or Pearl Collection as the base finish for your home. From there, you can choose from an array of upgrades. Our clients love and appreciate that we offer a wide range of selections and options.
With the help of our custom home build expert, you will be guided room by room to select your flooring, cabinets, millwork, paint, countertops, and backsplashes. Flooring selections can be made at our local showroom with a specialist available to assist you, and lighting fixtures can be chosen through our online lighting selection center to give you a realistic idea of how they would look inside a home.
Step 4: Turning Concept into Reality
While you are enjoying the process of selecting the various aspects of your home design, we are working behind the scenes, setting up permits, crafting work schedules, and preparing your property for construction. Throughout the build process, you will be able to log in to our online portal, where you can view your documents, blueprints, selections, and daily progress photos.
Step 5: Closing on Your Home
As your new home nears completion, a closing date can be set 90 days after a complete cabinet installation. Then, in the final two weeks before the big day, you will get your Buyer Orientation, where our team will guide you room by room through your new home and explain all its important functions and how to maintain it. This is also the time to note any issues and corrections before the final closing day!
Then, we get to hand over the keys to your new home! YAY!
