Not-So-Standard Standards: What Sets a Prodigy Home Apart

We don’t believe in bare minimums. While other builders often start with the basics and add on from there, we’ve flipped that script.

Our homes are built with elevated features from the beginning—details that others consider upgrades, but we include as standard. Because we believe your home should feel thoughtful, refined, and truly livable from day one.

Here’s what you can expect as part of the Prodigy experience.

Ceilings That Elevate Every Room

All of our homes come with 9-foot ceilings as standard, creating an open, airy feel throughout. Bonus rooms (when included in your plan) feature 8-foot ceilings.

But the real standout? Most of our floor plans come with a tray ceiling in both the living room and the entry, finished with LED lighting and crown molding—standard.

Prefer a more dramatic architectural feature? Our Interlude and Capri floor plans swap the tray for a vaulted ceiling, adding a completely different kind of spaciousness and character to the main living areas.

We take curb appeal seriously. You’ll have the choice between stucco or siding, with the opportunity to personalize even further with details like:

  • Swirl or fine texture

  • Trims or no trims

  • Board and batten

  • Architectural roof color selections

  • High-end garage door styles and finishes

These finishes give your home personality—and a polished presence from the moment you pull into the driveway.

Quartz, Everywhere It Counts

One of the most noticeable differences in a Prodigy home? Quartz countertops come standard throughout the entire home, including:

  • Kitchen

  • All bathrooms

  • Laundry room

  • Entertainment center or built-ins

This isn’t just about durability—it’s about design consistency, ease of maintenance, and a clean, elevated look that carries from room to room.

Interior Finishes That Feel Custom

From doors to fireplaces, everything in a Prodigy home is selected with care—and starts at a higher level. Standard features include:

  • Soft-close cabinetry in a variety of finish options

  • 8-foot interior doors for better proportion and flow

  • Gas or electric fireplace with clean-lined or custom surrounds

  • Tankless water heaters for efficiency and endless hot water

  • High-performance insulation and HVAC for comfort year-round

Many of these features are considered upgrades elsewhere—but they’re part of every Prodigy home, because we don’t believe in cutting corners.
