Which Floor Plan Is Right For Me?

Deciding on the floor plan for your home can seem intimidating but don’t worry, Team Prodigy is here to help! Here are a few things to consider when browsing floor plans:

1. Family first! Decide what size home your family needs.

Not every family needs a big home and not every family feels comfortable in a small home- the size of your home really depends on the makeup of your family! So, an important place to start is by assessing how many bedrooms and bathrooms you will need for the kids as well as any overnight guests. 2. Consider the pros and cons of the floor plan itself

While we here at Prodigy Homes, Inc. design our floor plans with you in mind, it is still vital that you think about both the pros and the cons when looking for the right floor plan. For instance, choosing an open floor plan could make working in your office challenging if the family is watching TV in the adjacent living room. You need to decide what your priorities are, and what you can and cannot live without. Everyone has their own preference. Do you like a compartmentalized floor plan where walls separate rooms, or do you prefer a more modern open floor plan? You may also find it helpful to think about how you will decorate and furnish a space, as different floor plans call for different setups. Knowing your needs is essential!

Open Floor Plans:

There are so many beautiful finish options in our homes here at Prodigy and it can be easy to focus on those when looking at photos. However, it is so important to focus on the plan itself. This means when you are considering a floor plan, don’t think about the sparkling countertops but do look at the flow of the open space. Thinking this way will help you determine which floor plan is right for you. Those stunning finishes can be added to any Prodigy plan. Check out the flow of this open living space below!
