In the Tri-Cities, daylight basement lots abound. To meet that need, we offer a variety of daylight basement plans. This year, we announced a new addition to this list: the Soprano Basement. Immediately, this new plan became a very popular choice. Visit this page to learn about its enticing features!
Richland’s Hidden Hills neighborhood is the location of our latest Soprano Basement-–a sophisticated home with a modern flair. We’d love to show you around!
Curb Appeal
This home has an added third garage bay. This doesn’t detract from the curb appeal, rather, it enhances it. Bumping out the middle bay and painting it to match the bump out on the other side of the entry creates a sense of balance, and breaks up the exterior. Further, the garage doors themselves are really beautiful, and increase the modern look. If you’re thinking of adding a third garage door, this is a great example of how to do it right!
Making An Entrance
Positive first impressions continue as guests step into the house. The chandelier strikes a perfect balance; elegant crystals pair up with a modern shape. Underfoot, a gorgeous, medium-tone hardwood flooring.
As you move into the great room, the bold, modern look continues. Lit up with purple flames, the lean, modern fireplace warms the room while upping the cool factor, as does the streamlined ceiling fan. Meanwhile, the dark grey accent color appears in the tray ceiling and above the cabinets, which adds depth to both places.

A Pop of Red
There’s something really awesome about white cabinets with a dark backsplash. It makes the whole kitchen area stand out more, defining its place in the great room floor plan. This kitchen features ample prep space and high-end, professional-grade appliances. Not only are these very practical for the serious home chef, they also give a kind of professional elegance to the space.
A grey and white color palette is very sophisticated and is beautiful on its own. However, adding pops of red, with the pendant lights and the cooktop knobs, makes this kitchen stand out. The color palette, streamlined hardware, and stainless steel appliances compliment the modernity of the great room, while the cabinet-style vent hood and classic trim balance things out for a transitional look.
Timeless Color Scheme
Black and white is a timeless bathroom color scheme, especially when it includes marble. It can look very classic, or, as in this case, very contemporary. Delta Ashlyn fixtures have a unique, modern look. The simple lines of the cabinet and drawer pulls are echoed by the vanity bars, which add sparkle without frills. White cabinets complete the look.
This shower design is very timeless, from the basketweave marble of the floor to the marble walls and black accent tiles. But once again, the plumbing fixtures tip the balance, making this space firmly contemporary.
