Just how much room for variation is there in Prodigy’s standard floorplans? To show you, we’ve been doing a series that compares different versions of the same room from the same plan, demonstrating the astonishing variety that results. This week, we’re looking at the Beethoven kitchen. Same plan, five unique styles!
Sleek and Subtle
Our first kitchen has contemporary flair! Textured glass tiles in a vertical stack pattern create a subtle but beautiful backsplash. Mont Blanc granite graces the countertops. The white cabinets terminate in a beautiful white molding, adding a classic element to this contemporary kitchen. A custom frosted glass pantry door adds a personal touch. To warm things up, we have a beautiful medium-tone wood floor and a stained island. With a perfect balance of contemporary elegance and warm, classic elegance, this kitchen has it all!
Warm and Cozy
Here’s a completely different, more traditional look. The foundation of this kitchen is the warm grey wall color. Creamy, antiqued cabinets add to the cozy feel. We love the contrast between the organic texture of the wood-grain backsplash and the sparkling pendant lights. In this version, we have a cabinet vent hood instead of the stainless steel version, which adds to the more traditional style. What an inviting place for a family to gather!
Naturally Beautiful
Stained cabinets haven’t been the most popular for a while now, but this kitchen shows how beautiful they can be. For a little contrast, the island is painted a warm neutral color. Black river granite is always a dramatic choice for an island, and it adds some serious elegance to this kitchen. The wood tones, tactile backsplash, and pendant lights all add to a very organic feel that feels very welcoming. Absolutely gorgeous!
Traditional Charmer
Graceful touches, such as arched cabinets, dental molding, and chandeliers with shades create a traditional elegance in this kitchen. Beautiful, light wood tones provide a striking counterpoint to the large stainless steel fridge. On the walls, we have a warm beige color. A subway tile backsplash is always a classic choice that works well here. What a beautiful example of a traditional kitchen!
Sparkling and Elegant
Taking the cabinets up to be flush with the ceiling makes a kitchen look even more custom and finished. A mixture of glass and metallic tiles creates a dazzling backsplash. This one also sports a unique feature: a bar section with hanging wine holders and wine bottle storage. There’s even a spot for a wine fridge. Cool, orb shaped pendant lights complete the look. This kitchen definitely dazzles!
